Good Practice Guide for Coasteering
Make sure you go Coasteering with a qualified coasteering guide to ensure the safety of yourself, others around you and wildlife. Use the iCoast map to find a provider.
Watch out for wildlife:
- Do not disturb roosting or nesting birds or damage plants and their habitats – Between Mid April and the end of June birds are breeding. If birds are disturbed during this time then they can abandon eggs or chicks
- Keep back and stay slow around dolphins and seals
Take home all your rubbish
- If you don’t it can spoil peoples experience of the Dorset coast and could harm marine creatures and birds
