Good Practice Guide for Cruising
Watch out for wildlife
- Do not disturb roosting or nesting birds or damage plants and their habitats – Between Mid April and the end of June birds are breeding. If birds are disturbed during this time then they can abandon eggs or chicks
- Keep back and stay slow around dolphins and seals
Avoid anchoring, dragging and boat wash in eelgrass / seagrass sensitive areas
- These areas can be found on the iCoast map. Click here to find out more about seagrass and boating
- Look at the restricted areas in iCoast for information on restricted and sensitive areas
